The Contribution You'll bring to this Role:

The UI/UX Designer is an experience obsessed, creative individual responsible for elevating the digital experience across Justrite Safety Group's ecommerce ecosystem. This role blends strategy, creativity, and data-driven insight to deliver intuitive, high-performing, and brand-defining user experiences across all JSG properties. The Designer will leverage a cross-functional team in building scalable design systems, driving continuous CX optimization, and translating complex business goals into simple, elegant customer journeys that convert. This designer will shape the future of JSG's digital experience-championing design excellence, innovation, and measurable impact on engagement and revenue.

Including:

Own the end-to-end user experience across Justrite Safety Group's ecommerce portfolio, including Justrite.com, ComplianceSigns.com, Accuform.com, and BasicConcepts.com.

Develop and maintain a multi-quarter UX design roadmap that aligns with business priorities, customer needs, and ROI impact.

Design elegant, scalable solutions for complex user journeys-leveraging layout, typography, hierarchy, interaction design, and modern design systems.

Author finalized high-priority designs ensuring design integrity from concept to production while addressing feedback and maintaining a seamless user experience.

Drive continuous improvement of the customer experience by identifying opportunities for new features and optimizations based on both quantitative analytics and qualitative research.

Create and maintain detailed customer journey maps to visualize user pathways, identify friction points, and uncover opportunities to optimize navigation, engagement, and conversion across JSG's ecommerce ecosystem.

This role is your gateway to opportunities for advancement, with the potential to grow within the organization in 3-5 years as you make meaningful contributions to our organizational goals.

OurECommerceteam is at the forefront of driving digital growth and creating seamless online experiences for our customers. We manage and optimize our online platforms, digital marketing initiatives, and marketplace partnerships to ensure our products are accessible whenever and wherever customers shop. With a focus on data-driven decision-making, innovation, and collaboration, the team works across functions to enhance the customer journey, strengthen brand presence, and deliver measurable business results. Always forward-looking, the E-Commerce team plays a critical role in shaping our digital strategy and positioning us for long-term success in an evolving marketplace.

What You'll Do at Justrite:

Translate business objectives into actionable designs by:



  • Leading discovery and research sessions to define user, business, and technical requirements.


  • Delivering detailed UX documentation-user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual design comps-to communicate solutions effectively.


  • Applying third-party and industry UX best practices across all digital touchpoints.


Partner cross-functionally with marketers, product owners, and business stakeholders to:



  • Prioritize enhancements and manage the design backlog.


  • Estimate UX effort levels, plan resourcing, and align roadmaps to strategic business goals.


Lead and evolve UX research practices, including competitive benchmarking, heuristic evaluations, user testing, and A/B experimentation to inform data-driven design decisions.

Define, own, and maintain the visual design system, digital style guide, component library, and authoring guidelines in partnership with marketing and digital growth teams to ensure brand consistency across all ecommerce properties.

Champion mobile-first design and leverage native mobile capabilities to deliver engaging, frictionless experiences that drive customer loyalty.

Stay ahead of emerging consumer technologies-including AI, AR/VR, mobile, and personalization trends-to inform long-term digital experience evolution.

Oversee UX project implementation within development pipelines, ensuring proper prioritization, resource coordination, and budget management.

Operate effectively within Agile/Sprint and Waterfall/Project-based frameworks, adapting to the needs of diverse initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.

Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:



  • 3-5 years designing eCommerce or B2B product experiences


  • Portfolio of work that demonstrates design prowess and metric impacts


  • Expert with Figma (or like tools Adobe XD, Sketch, etc), prototyping tools, and modern design-system principles


  • Fluency in A/B frameworks and analytics suites


  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS

Compensation:

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $85,000 to $95,000.

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
