Entry-Level Tandem Developer

Dev10 hires entry-level technologists and provides paid training to launch careers in technology. We are currently hiring for an Entry-Level Tandem (HPE NonStop) Developer role in partnership with our financial services client located in Berkeley Heights, NJ.

You do not need Tandem development experience, just a passion for learning and a foundation in C/C++ and Python. Dev10 provides the training and support you need to succeed.

What You'll Do

• Participate in four weeks of paid, remote training focused on Tandem/NonStop development, including:
  • NonStop architecture overview
  • Guardian OS fundamentals
  • Pathway, TAL, TACL, and COBOL programming concepts
  • Enscribe and SQL/MP database fundamentals
  • Batch processing and job control
  • Debugging, logging, and monitoring tools
  • Change control and deployment processes
• Complete a project after week 2 to demonstrate technical readiness
• After successful completion of training, work on-site in Berkeley Heights, NJ as a Tandem Developer
• Gain experience working on enterprise-scale systems used throughout the financial industry
• Receive ongoing mentorship and professional support from a dedicated Dev10 Manager

• Full-time paid employment from day one with Dev10
• Paid training: $600/week (4 weeks)
• After starting with the client: $28.85/hour ($60,000 annual equivalent)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
• Programming experience in C/C++ and Python
• Willingness to work on-site in Berkeley Heights, NJ after training (relocation allowed; relocation assistance not provided)
• Dev10 cannot provide or support any type of employment visa or work authorization paperwork, including OPT, CPT, EAD, H-1B, or TN. The only exceptions are for Asylees, Refugees, and TPS.
