High Liner Foods is seeking a Associate Manager, Go-to-Market to join our Innovation team. In this role, you will be the commercial champion for innovation - ensuring that what we create not only meets consumer needs but also delivers success in store and with customers.

This role sits at the intersection of innovation, marketing, category management, and sales enablement, helping bring to life new products and platforms through compelling go-to-market strategies and execution. This role requires a strong understanding of customer needs and involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure every innovation is positioned for success.

You will build customer-ready stories, drive sell-in excellence, and ensure innovation launches are fully equipped for market success across both food service and retail channels. A key part of this role is close collaboration with the Core team functions including: Customer Marketing, Sales Planning, Insights & Analytics and RGM to ensure alignment and executional excellence.

Accountabilities and responsibilities



  • Develop customer ready toolkits, compelling sell stories, and value propositions that drive adoption and engagement among retail and foodservice customers.
  • Leverage category management and planogram strategy as key knowledge assets.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to develop trial and awareness plans to launch innovation with excellence
  • Partner with other functions, especially Sales, Sales Planning, Category Management, and Customer Marketing to develop launch plans.
  • Monitor customer, category, and shopper trends to inform innovation pipelines and in-market performance metrics.
  • Own and manage GTM readiness checklists and stage-gate deliverables for all commercial milestones.
  • Track and report launch performance and KPIs across sell-in and sell-through, identifying and actioning opportunities to improve.
  • Be the internal voice of the customer and shopper, helping shape how innovation is commercialized and communicated


Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; or advanced commercial training is an asset.

-3+ years in a marketing innovation/category management role (e.g., category management, trade marketing, brand, or customer development, customer insights).

-Demonstrated experience leading successful go-to-market launches, preferably in CPG, food, grocery retail or food service.

-Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain.

-Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.

-Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

-Data-driven mindset with experience using category and shopper insights to drive decisions (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, POS data).

-Creative problem-solver with strong commercial instincts and an executional bias.
