The Opportunity

Under the direction of the Associate Director of Admissions and Systems, the Admissions System Analyst serves as the secondary point person who provides technology (CRM, SIS, BI, and other systems), data, and operation support for the division of Enrollment Management at the Daytona Beach campus. The primary responsibilities of this position are to build, maintain the different areas of the CRM and the SIS to enhance recruitment, application processing/decisions, and enrollment of new students at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Daytona Beach campus. In close collaboration with the enrollment leadership, the system analyst will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Ensuring the integrity of data across the different platforms utilized within the division
  • Supporting the Director of Admissions with technical needs including the segmentation of territories
  • Managing the different systems utilized within the division of Enrollment Management along with providing technical support to the Offices of Admissions and Enrollment Marketing
  • Overseeing the importing of prospective students data to the CRM (Targetx/Salesforce) and the student information system (PeopleSoft) along with enhancing the data exchanges processes between systems through automated interfaces
  • Working in close collaboration with IT to ensure effective maintenance of systems utilized in the division of Enrollment Management
  • Supporting the office of Enrollment Marketing with the implementation of prospective students communication flows(email, print, text, etc.) in TargetX and Marketing Cloud
  • Building of reports and dashboard in the BI, CRM, and SIS
  • Supporting the enrollment processes of special programs such as Honors Program, Gaetz academy (dual enrollment program), Summer Camp, Exchange students program
  • Supporting the SEVIS registration process with the department of International Student & Scholar Services and their student management platform
  • Working with external vendors to increase the prospect/applicant pools and enhance the applicant experience using tools provided by vendors such as EAB, Zeemee, Fullmeasure, and others
  • Using cutting edge technology to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the processing of applications/supporting documents and all other processes within the division of enrollment management
  • Training of staff on the use of the systems and finding ways to maximize the use of all of our technologies, especially the CRM
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the enrollment leadership
  • The System Analyst will be expected to investigate possible solutions through contacting technical vendors, colleagues at peer institutions and other sources to ensure that the University is keeping up with the latest technological standards in our recruitment efforts.

As the technical expert, this position will also be expected to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines with little to no supervision.

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or completion of program of 18+ months after high school. Computer science or related field
  • 1-3 years of related experience.

Required skills, knowledge, abilities:

  • Knowledge of admissions practices
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of University staff and administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with SQL or similar programming language
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience with document imaging and workflow (Oracle Product)
  • Experience with business process documentation
  • Experience managing data and creating reports and dashboards
  • Ability to assess the training needs of the multitude of end-users within the Enrollment
