We're here to better our world with biology. Join us as the new Regional Sales Lead, US for the Plant Health US organization! The Regional Sales Lead will be responsible for leading sales efforts within Plant Health US and we're looking for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in leading high performing teams, sales, strong industry knowledge, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders. In this role you'll make an impact by:
Creating and implementing a comprehensive sales and organizational strategy for the designated industry segment, aligning with company goals and market opportunities. Leading, mentoring, and supporting a team of sales and technical representatives by setting performance goals, monitoring progress, and providing feedback to ensure targets are met or exceeded. Building and nurturing relationships with key clients, industry leaders, and potential customers. Understanding client needs and deliver tailored solutions to drive satisfaction and loyalty. Conducting market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities. Using insights to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge. Monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics. Preparing and presenting reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Working closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall company objectives. Leading negotiations for high-value contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
To succeed you must hold:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Agriculture and/or correlated areas. MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus. Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of success in the Biologicals in Agriculture. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Deep understanding of industry trends, challenges, and competitive landscape. Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools. Proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills as a results-driven, strategic thinker. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location: Remote or in one of the US-based Novonesis sites Application deadline: December 10, 2025 Expected salary range: $145,000 - $170,000 base + 25% target bonus (based on experience)
