Job Description

The Project Coordinator for Mental Health First Aid Missouri plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of training programs across the state. This position supports program logistics, partner communication, and administrative operations to help expand access to mental health education in Missouri communities.

Coordinate Program Logistics
* Organize MHFA training sessions, including scheduling, material orders, instructor coordination, and invoice processing.
* Support registration and logistics for instructor trainings.
* Coordinate shipment of training materials to various sites.
* Track and report data for grant and program evaluation purposes.

Provide Program Support
* Respond to inquiries from individuals and organizations interested in MHFA.
* Offer friendly, timely support to MHFA instructors and training sites.
* Assist with onboarding and ongoing communication with training partners.

Administrative & Supply Management
* Maintain organized inventory of training materials.
* Prepare and move boxes for shipment and events (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs).

Optional Facilitation
* Opportunity to facilitate MHFA trainings based on interest and program need

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor applicants for this position for employment visas.

Shift

40 hours/week. Monday thru Friday, on campus position with option for remote work on Fridays.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

* Mental Health First Aider, MHFA Coordinator or certified MHFA Instructor.
* Experience coordinating programs or events.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Familiarity with community-based organizations or public health initiatives.
* Based in St. Louis, MO (required); occasional remote work flexibility available.
* Possesses conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within the Program and Project Administration function.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite and data tracking tools.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Comfortable with physical tasks such as packing and lifting boxes.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $19.00 - $22.00 hourly
Grade: GGS-008
