Role Summary

As a Lead Analyst, Service Analytics, you will be responsible to support the Business Operations and Strategic Planning organization in measuring performance and driving optimization across Rivian Service. You will play a critical role in providing data, analysis, and insights that drive productivity and efficiency. You may support business partners across our end-to-end Service operations, ranging from Service Centers, mobile service, call centers, parts logistics, quality, and related programs. You'll work cross-functionally to build dashboards, analyze operational performance, and support strategic initiatives with accurate and actionable data insights.


Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable, reliable, operational, and financial models, dashboards, and reports for cross-functional teams and executives
  • Proven experience performing deep data investigation and analyze trends to answer business questions that lead to insights and actionable outcomes, including making recommendations to leadership on key strategic decisions
  • Establish and cultivate strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to align on data requirements, project scope, deadlines, and the successful fulfillment of overall organizational needs
  • Lead the development of operational metrics, KPIs, and Service scorecards to align with business objectives for performance measurement
  • Translate complex business questions into data analysis, visualizations, and insights by leveraging advanced data visualization and modeling techniques (using tools such as Databricks, Hex, and Python notebooks)
  • Lead cross functional teams and forums to launch new program initiatives, within Rivian's Service Operations, and estimate costs and/or benefits of multiple actions and/or solutions
  • Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to standardize data pipelines, reporting and share best practices
  • Liaison between cross-functional partners and field service teams to collect feedback and continuous improvement ideas
  • Drive opportunities for improvements, and lead initiatives for continuous improvement of processes, standards, systems, tools, and workflows
  • May perform additional projects upon request

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, data science, industrial engineering, or related technical fields
  • 6+ years of experience in structuring, analyzing, and visualizing large data sets while support Service Operations
  • Experience in vehicle service or automotive operations preferred
  • An ability to create dashboards and tell a story using data including visualization experience in Databricks / Hex Python Notebook
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause investigations using data and visualizations
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, Hex, Databricks, Tableau, and Google Workspace (such as, Sheets, Slides, App Script, etc.)
  • Experienced in data injection and integration from external sources (such as third party sFTP, Excel/Google Sheets, API, Data Lake)
  • Strong project management, planning, and organization skills, including ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Progressive work experience showcasing your ability to communicate precisely and intelligently while working in ambiguity and building process from the ground up
  • Ability to stand or sit for 8-10 hours per day
  • Required to communicate using telephone and/or e-mail
  • Ability to view, reach, and interpret documents
  • Ability to perform all duties in an office environment that may contain ambient noise and temperature fluctuations

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range Irvine, CA Based Applicants: $137,800 - $172,200 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment. Part-Time employee coverage is effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment.
