Temporary Online Registration Coordinator for Events

Be part of The Collective at BCD M&E!

This is a great way to get into meetings & events! We are looking for confident, self-starters who want to be part of our online registration and registrant customer service process for our events and meetings. You have to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

You will be primarily focused on supporting one of our largest events but may also have opportunities to work on others.

This temporary Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week role starts January 5 and ends mid-March 2026. Shift options 8:00/8:30 AM - 5:00/5:30 PM CDT. NOTE: If you are based near or in the Chicagoland area, you will be required to work out of our downtown Chicago office (located in the Oglvie Metra Station building) Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Monday and Fridays work from home.

Your responsibilities



  • Respond to registrant inquires via email ensuring customer service excellence and meeting our 'within or before the next business' day response time
  • Provide administrative project support to fellow Registration Managers including but not limited to data entry into STOVA or Cvent databases and crosschecking Excel reports


  • Make outbound calls to assist registrants when necessary



You're good at



  • Being a positive and reliable contributor in a team environment (Emotional intelligence, proactive communication and flexible)
  • Customer service written and verbal skills and problem solving (Professional, thoughtful and solution-focused responses)
  • Managing heavy workload and setting realistic expectations
  • Learning technology/databases



You might also have



  • Excel experience
  • Hands on online registration and reporting experience
  • Degree in Hospitality

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Temporary Online Registration Coordinator for Events is between $26 and $28 per hour. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
