The Apogee Performance Surfaces segment has grown from $100M to $200M in revenue through a recent acquisition. Position Summary

The Resource Team Member rotates weekly to align with customer demand and is responsible for ensuring safe, high-quality, and productive operations across all areas on the assigned shift. The position leads daily troubleshooting efforts, demonstrates flexibility in assisting team members, and adapts quickly to changing priorities. With strong problem-solving skills, this role tackles complex issues, identifies effective solutions, and drives continuous improvements in processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Supervisor and rotating weekly to match customer demand.
  • Responsible for insuring safe, quality, productive operations of all areas on assigned shift.
  • Lead daily troubleshooting efforts.
  • Flexible and quick to assist team members, adapts to changing demands and readily provides support to the team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, tackling complex problems and finding effective solutions.
  • Implement continual improvements in assigned operation process and equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Personal Attributes and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Critical thinker with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to follow written instructions and have legible handwriting.
  • Must be able to keep an accurate record of materials used.
  • Must be capable of lifting and handling large heavy loads. (Up to 60 lbs.)
  • Must have strong Math Skills
  • Must have strong Trouble Shooting Skills
  • Must have strong mechanical skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be a qualified Fork Truck Operator.

Work Environment

  • Exposure to a manufacturing environment with coatings, wood dust, noise, and moving equipment.
  • Requires frequent lifting (up to 60 lbs.), bending, and prolonged standing throughout the shift.
