* Demonstrated experience managing multiple programs or initiatives.
* Experience with customer service, hospitality, or membership management is highly preferred.
* Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
* Experience with social media management, content creation, and digital marketing strategies
preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to develop marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and revenue
growth.
* Proficiency with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media platforms is highly
desirable.
* Ability to manage logistics, timelines, and vendor relationships effectively.
* A passion for supporting entrepreneurship, creativity, kindness, and community building. |

| Duties and Responsibilities |
This role supports the advancement of entrepreneurship, creativity, and community engagement at CO-
LAB. The coordinator will oversee aspects of membership services, including member recruitment, retention, and high-touch support. Additionally, this position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events in the Grand Hall and other CO-
LAB spaces, ranging from workshops and networking events to large-scale programs and community gatherings. A critical component of this role is developing and executing marketing and social media strategies that amplify CO-LAB's brand presence, drive event attendance, and generate membership revenue. The position also assists with logistics and vendor coordination, and ensures CO-
LAB is a welcoming, innovative, and thriving community hub. Collaboration, engagement, marketing expertise, and a service mindset are vital to thrive in this position and build a culture of wellness and creativity.
* Build, cultivate, and manage CO-
LAB memberships, including recruitment, onboarding, renewal,
and retention strategies.
* Plan, coordinate, and execute events in coordination with the CO-
LAB team in the Grand Hall
and smaller CO-
LAB spaces, including workshops, networking events, speaker series, community
programs, and entrepreneurial showcases.
* Manage event logistics from start to finish, including scheduling, vendor coordination, setup,
audio-visual needs, catering, and breakdown.
* Collaborate with CO-
LAB staff, university partners, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless
event delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
* Develop and execute marketing and social media strategies to increase CO-
LAB awareness,
strengthen branding, and drive membership growth and event attendance.
* Create compelling content for digital platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, website) to
showcase CO-
LAB programs, member success stories, and entrepreneurial impact.
* Design and implement targeted marketing campaigns to promote events, memberships, and
programs with a focus on revenue generation and community engagement.
* Track and analyze marketing metrics (social media engagement, website traffic, conversion
rates) to measure
ROI and inform strategic decisions to drive revenue growth.
* Monitor and track membership data, event attendance, and program outcomes for reporting
and continuous improvement.
* Promote a culture of kindness, resilience, collaboration, and wellness within CO-
LAB and the
broader entrepreneurial community.
* Contribute to outreach and engagement initiatives that amplify the work of CO-
LAB,
UNC
Charlotte, and
CEI within the Charlotte community.
* Serve as a role model for innovation, hospitality, and creative problem-solving, supporting
students, entrepreneurs, and community partners alike.
* Document activities, membership trends, and event feedback for program reporting and
strategic planning. |
