Responsibilities
Location: Wichita, KS (On-site) Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and apply knowledge of business processes and translate business requirements into cost effective technology products and services
- Leverage technical knowledge and experience in collaboration with industry experts and service providers to provide right-sized solutions
- Improve company products and processes by evaluating emerging technologies, and industry standard best practices
- Design and implement proof of concept projects to validate benefits and define infrastructure requirements for production deployment of new technologies and processes
- Ensure use of standard computing disciplines (e.g., change, configuration, problem, performance, and operational management) to ensure that customer delivery systems requirements are met in a cost-effective manner which complies with company standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Provides information or technical guidance to various Spirit organizations and application analysts
- Implement security policies and procedures to protect the organization's data and systems
Qualifications
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- IT experience:
- Level 2: 2-4+ years of experience - Salary estimate: $58,000 - $82,000
- Level 3: 5-8+ years of experience - Salary estimate: $74,000 - $105,000
- Level 4: 9-13+ years of experience - Salary estimate: $99,000 - $142,000
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
- Must be able to secure Program access approval
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Background as a Linux, Server, and/or Network Administrator
- Working knowledge of aerospace industry practices and standards
- Demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment
- Advanced thinking and problem-solving ability
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- 8570 Certification
- Microsoft Server experience
- Linux Server experience
- Microsoft Desktop experience
- Cisco iOS experience
- Motivated and a strong willingness to learn new roles
