Job Description

This position can be out of our275 Grove St, Auburndale, MA 02466, USA OR our 404 NW 10th Street 2nd floor, suites 200-201. Portland Oregon 972029. USA offices.

The role is centered on orchestrating go-to-market strategies to drive aggressive growth with a relentless focus on net new logo acquisition and untapped market penetration, while maintaining Omdia's high standards of client partnership and industry expertise.

Role Objective

Lead systematic prospecting and execute strategic campaigns to win new customers, expand into new personas, and generate high-value opportunities within the technology sector. Success is measured by new logo wins, pipeline acceleration, and expanding Omdia's reach within global enterprise accounts.

Core Responsibilities

  • New Logo Acquisition Leadership: Own the full prospecting cycle from target identification to deal closure, focusing on hunting net-new clients in technology and enterprise sectors.
  • Go-to-Market Orchestration: Build and execute integrated sales motions uniting demand generation, SDR outreach, and hunting activities to land new accounts.
  • Systematic Prospecting: Develop repeatable and scalable processes for identifying and engaging new buyers, leveraging market intelligence, persona mapping, and competitive analysis to prioritize prospects.
  • Team Collaboration & Enablement: Work closely with Marketing, SDR, and Sales Enablement teams to orchestrate pipeline generation, share best practices, and maintain discipline in outbound hunting activities. Work with the wider Omdia analyst and consulting teams to ensure that clients are delighted with the service they receive
  • Performance Reporting: Deliver accurate forecasts and pipeline metrics focusing on prospecting conversion rates, net-new business growth, and campaign ROI.
  • Market Intelligence Expansion: Actively research and segment markets to discover buyers outside of Omdia's existing footprint and develop tailored outreach strategies for different buying scenarios.
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience selling technology market intelligence or related market intelligence/research consulting services.
  • Experience selling into industries such as:
    • Cybersecurity
    • SaaS
    • AI
    • IT Infrastructure
    • Consumer Devices
    • Channel
  • Proven track record of net new business development ("hunter" profile) with demonstrated ability to penetrate untapped accounts and close deals in the $100K+range.
  • Mastery of advanced B2B sales methodologies in consultative selling, solution selling, and complex pursuits for technology research and advisory services.
  • Experience in outbound prospecting and new logo acquisition.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technological concepts to diverse audiences
  • Strong CRM and sales automation tool experience, including pipeline management and data-driven performance optimization.

Key Success Measures

  • Achievement of aggressive new logo acquisition and annual contract value (ACV) growth targets.
  • Consistent high performance in net-new pipeline generation, prospect conversion rates, and "hunting motion" execution.
  • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to maximize market impact and deliver seamless client experience.

Additional Information

Salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 (based on experience) + $48,000 commission (uncapped).
