Associate Manager, Procurement - Fragrance and Wax

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Associate Manager, Procurement - Fragrance and Wax, you will play a pivotal role within the Global Procurement team. You will support the Fragrance and Wax portfolio across all SC Johnson business units in North America. In this role, you will execute and lead the 3 - 5-year category strategy for Global SC Johnson, manage key supplier relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, and drive significant business results in cost savings, working capital improvement, new product innovation, and supply security. Additionally, you will develop strategic partnerships with suppliers to ensure supply continuity and achieve cost, innovation, and sustainability goals. Successful execution of category strategies will significantly enhance business outcomes across the globe.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement the global procurement sourcing strategy, focusing on supply continuity, cost savings, working capital improvement, sustainability, innovation, and service.

• Accountable for the delivery of cost savings and working capital improvement globally.

• Manage key supplier relationships and gain a deep understanding of market and supply base.

• Execute and lead strategies through RFP processes, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract executions.

• Lead supplier selection for innovation and support commercialization of innovation projects.

• Partner with suppliers to introduce new products and process innovations that drive profitable growth.

• Responsible for delivering sustainability goals.

• Accurate inflation forecasts for budgeting, tracking commodities, and mitigating inflation.

• Align regional strategies with global procurement objectives, ensuring cost savings, risk mitigation, and enhanced supplier performance.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

• Bachelor's degree preferably in Chemistry, Engineering, Business, Finance or Supply Chain

• 5+ years of work experience in Supply Chain, Procurement/Strategic Sourcing, Finance, Chemical Sales, RD&E or related field

• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• CPG background

• Multi-regional portfolio category leadership experience and cross-cultural awareness

• Strong communication and cross-functional skills

• Manage complexity and ambiguity; Experience managing complex projects and multiple priorities

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Full Time position, standard business hours Monday through Friday

• Remote work available once a week for eligible employees

• < 10% Travel can be expected

• This role is not eligible for relocation
