Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Trainer Field Operations to join our shared services team.
Primary Responsibilities: Training Coordination
- Maintain an active schedule/calendar of available training
- Communication/promote vendor led training to field team
- Coordinate ad-hoc training request with vendors
- Coordinate training logistics for new product/service rollouts in partnership with the Product Team
- Support the planning and rollout of apprenticeship programs in high-demand markets or where required
Training Delivery and Facilitation
- Develop internal training content using video, PowerPoint, and other formats specific to Pavion's products, services, and processes
- Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions to scale across regions and teams
- Deliver both live and on-demand training tailored to technician roles and customer needs
- Support onboarding and field-readiness programs for new hires and apprentices
- Ensure training delivery supports compliance, certification renewal, and annual training hour goals
- Adapt delivery methods based on learning style, job function, and regional needs (e.g., remote, in-person, hybrid)
- Coordinate with Product and Ops teams to deliver training tied to new product launches or service changes
Training Catalogue
- Develop training catalogue through 3rd party providers
- Determine best fit for Pavion's technical and compliance needs (PSA, ESA, C-Moore or Precipio)
- Manage CEU requirements by state where needed
- Partner with Ops team to create learning tracks based on technician roles and development goals
- Ensure training options to support Pavion's 40-hour annual training target
- Regularly review and update the catalogue to reflect certification changes and new product offerings
Training Database
- Maintain a database of skills and certifications by employee
- Set up reminders for renewal of certifications or skills with expiration dates
- Create mechanisms to extract and display skill/certification coverage by region/state for RFP responses, customer requirements, and other business needs
- Work with CRM administrator to update skills and certifications in Dynamics as they are earned
- Track and report on technician progress toward the 40-hour annual training goal
- Use training data to support workforce planning, deployment, and compliance readiness
- Maintain records for apprenticeship programs where applicable
Programs
- Lead training-related projects and programs as assigned
- Manage and promote the Tech Sales Lead Program, including field engagement and performance tracking
- Design and support apprenticeship programs in key markets based on workforce demand or local requirement
- Create and maintain customer-specific training playbooks and protocols in collaboration with Ops and Product teams
- Support training program integration for new product and service rollouts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align training programs with company goals and customer expectations
- Continuously evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements based on field feedback and performance data
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 3+ years in training delivery and coordination
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strategic thinker, experience problem solving and driving results
- Able to redirect and pivot based on changes in projects and tasks assigned
- Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
- Able to work in high pressure environments
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Able to travel as needed, up to 20% of time
- Able to coordinate multiple strategic projects and initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, personnel management, project management or related
- Advances or Enterprise technical certifications on platforms and systems sold by Pavion
