- 9-80 Work Schedule: This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Position Overview:
As a member of the Fire Power Medium organization, you will play a crucial role in designing and integrating the lethality systems of our vehicles. Primary Responsibilities:
- System and Subsystem Requirements Analysis:
- Focus on the analysis, development, integration, and testing of systems and subsystems for medium-caliber turret platforms with an emphasis on lethality.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in using MATLAB, Simulink, and CAMEO for control system design and modeling.
- Requirements and Test Plans:
- Review and develop system, hardware, and software requirements.
- Develop comprehensive test plans.
- Integration and Testing:
- Support hardware and software integration in both lab environments and on vehicles.
- Utilize various test equipment, including dynamic analyzers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, Ethernet, RS-422/485, and CANbus.
- Subsystem Analysis:
- Analyze subsystem requirements.
- Develop logic for flowcharts, state charts, state diagrams, and fire control algorithms for design documentation.
- Field Support:
- Support fielding and production sites to investigate and resolve fire control issues.
- Vehicle Platform Integration:
- Support the integration and testing of electrical control devices and sensors on various vehicle platforms.
- Technical Support and Communication:
- Provide fire control technical support and communication to the GDLS program office, GDLS customers, and other GDLS departments.
- Coordination and Reporting:
- Coordinate with other organizations, compile input, provide status updates, and suggest courses of action as required.
- Additional Duties:
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications:
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Mechanical Engineering (BSME), Computer Engineering (BSCE), Mechatronics, or Robotics.
- Consideration: Similar technical degrees may be considered if the candidate's experience aligns with the requisition's requirements.
- Experience:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Extensive knowledge and experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and CAMEO for model-to-code generation.
- Experience with CAMEO is particularly valued.
- Project Management:
- Proven capability to lead a Fire Control project team.
- Testing Requirements:
- Extensive vehicle and laboratory testing experience is required.
- Familiarity with ASR requirements for working inside tanks and military vehicles.
- Travel:
- Occasional travel to field sites may be required.
- Physical Requirements:
- Candidate may be required to lift and carry up to 30 lbs of test equipment as needed.
- Work Environment:
- Extensive use of computer systems and test equipment in both laboratory and field environments.
- Communication Skills:
- Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
