Hourly Pay Rate: $28.27 - $38.46

Position

The Maintenance Mechanic performs building maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment. Repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as pneumatic tools, HVAC equipment, production machines and equipment.

Maintenance Mechanic II will:

  • The Maintenance Mechanic II performs skilled repairs and upgrades on equipment, executes preventative maintenance tasks, and helps manage the spare parts inventory and work order system.
  • This role supports equipment reliability and up time by diagnosing issues and ensuring maintenance procedures are effectively followed.
  • Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience reading, understanding, and following wiring schematics
  • Experience repairing numerical control machines like CNC machines, ply cutters, and ultrasonic inspection systems
  • Experience with compressed air systems
  • An understanding of autoclaves, pressure vessels, and gas fired batch equipment
  • Familiarity with the use and maintenance of various pneumatic hand tools
  • Experience with basic metal fabrication, cutting and welding
  • Working knowledge of dust collection equipment, HVAC, walk-in freezers and hydraulic systems
  • Experience troubleshooting PLC controls

Preferred Experience:

  • High School Degree or GED preferred. 5 years of previous industrial maintenance experience performing basic maintenance repairs including plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical under daily supervision
  • Experience in CNC diagnostics and maintenance is strongly preferred

Working Conditions:

  • While performing typical duties of this job, production employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment.
  • Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature-controlled.
  • Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
  • Exposure to hazardous equipment.
  • Exposure to contaminants.
  • Shared workspaces with other employees.
  • Requires handing objects of up to 50 lbs.
  • Lifting pushing, pulling, and bending.
  • Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift and overtime).

Pay

SEKISUI Aerospace is required by Washington law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Washington resident. Pay ranges may be higher or lower for non-resident WA employees, based on the market data for their region, allowing us to pay employees competitively in different geographic markets.
