*This position is for 1st Shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm)*

POSITION PURPOSE

The Warehouse Administrator supports the Warehouse Supervisor in managing the daily operations of the Distribution Center. This role is responsible for performing all administrative and transactional activities related to order fulfillment, product receipts, and shipping coordination. The position requires close collaboration with all levels of management within the Distribution Center and the broader Operations team to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES



  • Plan and schedule TL, LTL, and parcel shipments.
  • Ensure carrier selection aligns with routing guides and monitor freight spend for cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate international and inbound shipments to maintain smooth supply chain flow.
  • Tender loads, obtain freight quotes, and communicate with carriers to ensure timely pickups and resolve missed pickups.
  • Accurately maintain and enter electronic PRO numbers for LTL carriers during the planning process.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure orders ship as requested and meet customer expectations.
  • Obtain and record freight quotes for documentation and reporting.
  • Coordinate order details, providing clear instructions to dock and floor supervisors; communicate effectively with DC team members.
  • Prepare customs documentation and hazmat paperwork as required.
  • Schedule shipments through various customer portals.
  • Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards for Distribution Center operations.
  • Communicate with the Quality Assurance team to expedite product availability and lot number activation.
  • Perform inventory transactions and maintain cycle count data with accuracy.
  • Communicate with the Supply Chain team to ensure accurate transfer and tracking of inventory.
  • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in managing daily operations; perform hands-on warehouse tasks as needed.
  • Support reporting and pricing activities as assigned.
  • Train and serve as a backup to the Warehouse Supervisor when required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS




  • Shipments are processed accurately and on time, meeting or exceeding shipping goals.
  • Safety and quality objectives for Distribution Center operations are consistently achieved.
  • Inventory transactions and cycle count data are completed accurately and in a timely manner.


EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • College degree preferred


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:



  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and D365 or similar ERP systems.


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:



  • 3 - 5 years Warehouse load planning, scheduling experience or customer service experience required

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach.
  • Curiosity to solve problems and improve processes


WORKING CONDITIONS



  • No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions.


ANNUAL SALARY



  • $70,000 - $85,000 annually, plus bonus
