About the Role

You're the go-to person for anything payroll and benefits because you combine technical know-how with a genuine desire to help people. You love problem-solving, keeping things compliant, and making sure employees feel supported and informed. You're patient, proactive, and always looking for ways to improve processes.

Key Responsibilities

Benefits Administration:



  • Assist with the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, etc.)
  • Support open enrollment processes, including communications, enrollment approvals, and system update.
  • Respond to employee inquiries about health, retirement, and life benefit programs.
  • Coordinate with vendors and carriers to resolve employee issues and ensure data accuracy
  • Supports yearly audits and coordinate month-end processing of reports, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Process monthly billings and invoices for group benefit plans.
  • Process employee 401(K) changes.
  • Maintain benefits records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies
  • Other duties as assigned



Payroll Support:



  • Assist with biweekly payroll processing, including data entry, audits, and reconciliations
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll changes (new hires, terminations, pay changes, etc.)
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
  • Support year-end processes including W-2s and other tax reporting
  • Run HRIS reports and perform system audits (ADP) as needed



What We Are Looking For




  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Ideally 2+ years of experience processing payroll, benefits, or administrative experience.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems (ADP)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to meet daily and weekly deadlines.
  • Customer Service minded professional with a desire to build relationships both internally and externally.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paylocity, etc.)
