The Senior Specialist Expediting is responsible for oversight, schedule maintenance and delivery for equipment and materials Purchases Orders. This includes both physical materials and the associated technical, logistics, quality and safety documents and deliverables as outlined in the purchase order documents provided to them.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

* Attend Purchase Order Kick Off Meetings
* Obtain materials and document lists from suppliers, and ensure they meet PO requirements
* Hold weekly meetings with key suppliers to ensure compliance with the schedule
* Generate minutes of weekly meetings and a rolling action item list
* Coordinate field expediting and inspection visits to suppliers and sub-supplier's locations
* Receive and log inspection release notes (IRN) from quality group
* Receive preliminary packing lists and issue Shipping Release Note (SRN)
* Receive and log Materials Movement Tickets (MMTs) from Logistics
* Resolve and Overage Shortage and Damage notices from Exyte materials team
* Support close out of packages once all materials and delivered and deliverables are reviewed and approved
* Other duties as assigned

Show your expertise

Minimum Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or relevant experience
3+ years of Procurement, Expediting, Logistics or Materials Control experience

Preferred
Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred
Experience working in Procurement in manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, high tech or construction environment preferred
Experience working in projects in a construction / tool install / project environment preferred
