Provide hardware and software installation and support to Biomedical Engineering Information Systems for Northside Hospital Inc. to include Laureate Medical Group. Assists the Coordinator of Biomedical Engineering Information Systems with strategic planning relative to these systems. Perform project and issue resolution duties (including on-call) as required.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

1. Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or other related technical field; or five (5) years professional work experience in working with personal computers and technology.

2. Two (2) years experience in personal computer software and computer hardware installations and support (or five years without degree)

3. Experience with standard operating systems and desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Professional)

4. Excellent analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.

5. Excellent communications and customer service skills.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

1. Experience with advanced PC troubleshooting

2. A+ / Net+ / MCSE certification or other equivalent network certification

3. Experience with standard networking protocols (including TCP/IP and Ethernet) and information security technologies

4. Prior healthcare experience
