Overview:

As an Assembler, you will work closely with production and engineering teams and will be responsible for assembling complex tools used in microchip manufacturing. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work with precision components.

Responsibilities:



  • Read blueprints, process instructions, schematics, mechanical drawings, pictures, and other diagrams to assemble complex assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
  • Assemble parts or units, position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly. Connect cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications. Disassemble units to replace parts or to crate them for shipping.
  • Solder, wire, and check connections and continuity.
  • Measure parts to determine tolerances, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and verniers.
  • Conduct tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
  • Monitor operation including gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure the machines are working properly.



Qualifications:



  • High school diploma and a minimum of 2-4 years related experience required OR An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Must have experience in the assembly of mechanical mechanisms, wiring, and cable harnesses.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings or blueprints in AutoCad.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
  • ERP experience, specifically SAP, is a plus for managing parts inventory and non-compliance.


Salary and Benefits

The expected hourly pay range for this position is $19.59 - $24.82, plus a bonus opportunity. We will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors when determining your pay.
