Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in delivering exceptional HR support across multiple offices and business groups. This position ensures smooth HR operations by managing administrative tasks, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, and maintaining accurate employee records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about creating a positive experience for employees and candidates while upholding confidentiality and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the HR team, including record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS data entry, and drafting communications within and outside the HR department.
  • Recruitment & Internship Coordination: Assist with university and intern recruitment activities by creating and posting job requisitions, coordinating college career fairs, partnering with hiring managers during the selection process, preparing and presenting internship offers, and maintaining detailed intern tracking across multiple locations.
  • Campus Recruiting Logistics: Support campus recruiting efforts by scheduling interviews, ensuring timely follow-up, maintaining accurate records in applicant tracking systems, and helping deliver a positive experience for candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • HR Data & Reporting: Compile and perform basic analysis of HR data, including employee records, recruitment metrics, and onboarding/offboarding activity.
  • Employee Support: Respond to routine inquiries regarding policies, procedures, benefits, and hiring processes, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
  • Onboarding Facilitation: Conduct new hire orientation sessions, assist with paperwork completion, and verify I-9 documentation in compliance with federal guidelines.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of HR files, data, conversations, and records at all times.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as needed to support HR operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Local Candidates Preferred
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of employees and management
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Word and Excel or similar programs
  • Basic understanding of business activities
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
