Hours: Monday - Friday; 7:00am - 3:00pm

Job Summary: Prepare for shipment and assist in the fabrication of signage and printed wall panels according to product specifications in the Signscape division to drive customer satisfaction.

Primary Duties:

• Pack and ship orders according to MOT specified.
• Pull and pack materials by specification.
• Use internal systems to process orders.
• Assist in print finishing operations.
• Assist in sign fabrication.
• Receive and cycle count inventory.
• Gain a full understanding of the ERP systems.
• Gain a full understanding of catalog offerings and materials.
• Handle material using man lifts and forklifts.
• Track orders packed by quantity and type.
• Interpret technical documents, work orders, and part numbers.
• Coordinate with manufacturing team and manufacturing team leads.
• Cross train to gain basic proficiency in all production cells relating to sign and print production.

• 5S+Safety: Take ownership of workspace and maintain to 5S+Safety standard.

Job Specifications:

• Basic math skills and the ability to understand measurements.
• Ability to read technical documents.
• Ability to distinguish colors.
• Ability to use power tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Proficient knowledge in Windows and Microsoft 365.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Relations:

• Reports directly to Signscape Team Lead
• Works with all areas of manufacture in the shop
• Works with IT on computer related programs and problems
• Works with Maintenance on equipment related issues

Authority:

• Authority to stop production for non-conforming quality or safety compliance
• Report non-conforming material and safety non-compliance to management
• Make decisions on accept or reject according to quality specifications
• Make logical decisions based on experience and/or company policy
• Support company policies and procedures
