Responsibilities

  1. Conducts complex financial analysis and modeling to provide actionable information and prepares recommendations for policies, procedures, controls, or actions.
  2. Analyzes financial information to assess present financial performance and predict future financial performance. Identifies trends and recommends improvements accordingly.
  3. Evaluates complex profit plans, operating records, operational productivity metrics and financial statements
  4. Directs preparation of studies, reports, and analyses in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, , cash flow projections, and business forecasts.
  5. Partners with various company stakeholders to understand objectives and provide support through utilization of company data to drive informed decision making.
  6. Establishes databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts.
  7. Makes recommendations to operation management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies.
  8. Researches and prepares economic reports on subjects such as rate of return, depreciation, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and impact of governmental requirements.
  9. Provides interpretation of financial policies, governmental legislation, accounting theory, or customer financial regulations.

  • Proficient with spreadsheets and database software or accounting applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects quickly and accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with appropriate attention to detail.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience Requirements

  • Five years' experience in accounting and/or finance.
