The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Web Developerto work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.

The key responsibilities of this Web Developerinclude, but are not limited to:



  • Design, code, and modify the company website and web applications, striving for visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
  • Work collaboratively with designers to ensure that visual design intent is met and effectively communicated to the end-users.
  • Offer improvements to technical SEO and website structure.
  • Integrate third-party APls seamlessly into the web platform while ensuring the integrity and security of data.
  • Develop and integrate custom-built APls to extend the functionality and interactivity of the website.
  • Create and maintain software documentation, ensuring that all team members can understand and work with your code, and or make content updates.
  • Engage closely with the marketing and communications teams to understand content goals and apply advanced SEO techniques to maximize search visibility.
  • Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends, especially in SEO and web standards, and apply them to operations and activities.
  • Experiment with and implement Al agents, workflow automation, and integration of Al APls into existing systems
  • Work with data pipelines, APls, and orchestration tools to enable Al-assisted applications

Salary: $63,000 - $85,000

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in web development with an emphasis on user-centric design.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical team members.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience in PHP, C# .NET, ASP.NET MVC is essential.
  • Proficiency with relational database systems, including SQL Server, object-oriented programming, and web application programming.
  • Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and mobile standards.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SEO, with a deep understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress or Joomla.
  • Advanced knowledge of common web practices and standards, ensuring optimal user experience across platforms.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is preferred.
  • Understanding and implementing security best practices including OAuth2, JWT, and Azure AD for identity management and authentication is a plus.
  • A solid understanding of database design is highly regarded.?
