OurMilitary Aircraft Groupislooking for a Loop Leader toprovide support for Aircraft production programs, specifically for the EHA value stream, which includes the F-35 program and Pumps and Motors programs.

You will report to the Value Stream Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

As a Loop Leader, you will..

  • Sustaining Operations

  • Monitor and analyze daily data. For example, indented/waterfall parts outlook, line of balance, RUR status.

  • Review A&T capacity, past due items, and expedite needs

  • Participate in Tiered Management and daily Gemba walks

  • Facilitate cross functional teams to solve problems and remove roadblocks

  • Manage critical parts and assist with production issues including tooling, work orders, and job prioritization

  • Develop and utilize metrics to guide decision-making and performance improvements

  • Developing Continuous Improvement & Lean Mindset

  • Improve production procedures and increase operational efficiency

  • Develop and ensure adherence to Standard Work practices

  • Drive Lean Daily Management to enhance Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost

  • Identify and reduce waste across operations

  • Lead root cause analysis and implement effective countermeasures

  • Focus on delivering value to the customer

To be considered for the Loop Leader role, here's what you typically need to bring with you:

  • High school diploma or formal training equivalency, plus 10 years of experience working in or supporting Manufacturing Operations or Process Development/Improvement

-OR-

  • Two year accredited technical degree plus 5 years of experience working in or supporting Manufacturing Operations or Process Development/Improvement

-OR-

  • Four-year Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of experience working in or supporting Manufacturing Operations or Process Development/Improvement

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams

  • Demonstrated lean problem solving through use of tools such as 5-Why, fishbone, etc

  • Experience developing and implementing standardization through Standard Work Instructions (SWIs)

  • Ability to periodically work additional hours to support program goals and product demand

  • Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $80,000.00-$110,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
