Job Description


BASIC POSITION FUNCTION:


Responsible for technical/production support, of aerospace and aero-derivative gas turbine component repairs.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES/TASKS:



  • On-Site Support for creation of Process, Methods, and Router Documentation, for Manufacturing and/or Repair product lines.
  • Learn processes, technical principles, equipment operation, and operational work-scope.
  • Engage with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Safety departments, to implement process improvements projects. Develop and establish effective procedures/documentation to enforce process improvements.
  • Engage with Production Engineers and facilitate induction of transferred or new tooling, fixturing, gaging, and equipment. Maintain qualification per project plan and coordinate activities to ensure on-time development.
  • Complete database updates for turnaround (TAT) and Operational Steps by executing time studies on existing and new processes.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Currently enrolled as a college degree seeking student in AS (Associate of Science), AES (Associate of Engineering Science), or BS (Bachelor of Science), program
  • Preferred Bachelor majors - Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Materials Science
  • Prior work experience
  • Ability to work on-site
