Voith Hydro is hiring for: Machine Operator York, PA Machine Operator $34.34/hour, Full Time We are looking for candidates to work on second shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Mon-Fri) or third shift (11:00 PM to 7:00am Sun-Thur) 1. Reasonsyou'lllove working here: Safe, clean working environment Vacation after90 days Medical benefit package within first30 daysor less Eligible for 10 paid holidaysimmediately Paid lunch and break Shift differential foroff-shiftsof $2.50/hour Responsibilities Maintain a Safe work environment Perform setups on CNC machines(Lathes, HorizontalMills, Vertical Mills, and 5 axis Mills)safely and productively. Layout components to verify stock for machinability. Machine parts to drawing specificationsutilizingCNC machine tools such as Vertical Turning Mills and Horizontal Boring Mills. Edit CNC programs, as necessary. Calculate dimensions and tolerances using math for machining, ensure that components meet the drawing specificationsutilizinga variety of inspection tools (micrometers, Vernier calipers). Qualifications Candidatemust have a high school diploma or GED. Qualified applicants for the Machine Operator II position must have at least2,000 hoursofpreviousexperience in a machine shop or an associate degree from a technical school. Must be able to pass a working physical. Knowledge of G+M codesa plus. Ability to interpret Blueprints.
