Job Description

In this specialized role, you will focus primarily on staff education, competency validation, and ensuring Resident Assistants who administer medications are properly trained and confident in their clinical skill set. You will also oversee clinical training documentation, ongoing education, and regulatory compliance related to staff competencies.

Position Details
  • Hours: Part-time, 16 hours per week
  • Pay: $42-$45/hour
  • Location: Talamore Senior Living - Sun Prairie, WI
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on training, coaching, and ongoing education to Resident Assistants, with a primary focus on safe and accurate medication administration.
  • Conduct skills validations and competency assessments to ensure staff are prepared and compliant with state regulations.
  • Maintain clinical training and competency records for all care staff.
  • Support onboarding and orientation for new clinical team members.
  • Reinforce and monitor adherence to clinical policies, medication procedures, and safety standards.
  • Identify training needs, recommend improvements, and support quality assurance efforts.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative work environment with an emphasis on teamwork and resident-centered care.
Qualifications
  • Current RN license in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Experience in assisted living, senior care, home health, or long-term care preferred.
  • Strong communication, teaching, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to lead by example while supporting staff development and confidence.
