As a Senior Helicopter A&P Mechanic, you will support advanced rotorcraft that must remain mission ready at a moment's notice. You will work with a tight knit team, troubleshoot complex issues, and keep a high performance fleet operating safely and reliably.


Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate daily maintenance or inspection needs to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
  • Notify the Lead Mechanic of unusual conditions that affect schedules aircraft availability manpower or technical support.
  • Oversee maintenance of assigned aircraft at field bases including monitoring stock levels and requesting necessary parts.
  • Maintain safety and security of all company assets at field locations.
  • Prepare and certify maintenance documentation aircraft logs inspection forms and reports in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards.
  • Complete entries in maintenance software systems including work packages removals installations and aircraft status updates.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Lead Mechanic and other operational personnel to ensure timely task completion.
  • Manage parts inventory and recommend adjustments when necessary.
  • Maintain and track calibration of company issued tools.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a certified aircraft mechanic.
  • Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to pass a physical exam functional capacity assessment lifting up to 100 lbs drug screening and background check.

Additional Requirements for Roving Maintenance Technicians

  • Sheet metal repair and or avionics troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to travel frequently including with short notice.
  • Ability to work night shifts based on maintenance needs.

Schedule and Location Requirements

  • 7 days on 7 days off schedule
  • Candidates must reside within one hour or 60 miles of the base whichever is greater
  • Travel between bases may be required
