Marketing and Content Developer

Responsibilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and talented communications specialist to join our corporate marketing team as a content developer. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with demonstrated, strong writing ability, and the unique skillset of being able to create clear, concise and easily digestible content from technical materials. This individual should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a desire and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will shape how we communicate our mission-critical capabilities, advanced technical solutions and overall corporate messaging on the web, social media, in sales presentations and in printed collateral. You'll create and manage digital content, social campaigns and strategic communications that support technological advancements and business growth.

Collaboration will be key in this role. You will work closely with the chief marketing officer (CMO) and Arcfield's third-party marketing agency partner, you will work to identify opportunities for visibility, thought leadership and community engagement on social media platforms. Specifically, you will be responsible for managing the execution of both organic and paid digital media content and campaigns across multiple platforms (web, social, video, email), working closely with the CMO and third-party agency on budget management and optimization. Additionally, you will be expected to collaborate with technical subject matter experts to develop compelling scripts to effectively promote the applicability of our technical solutions to customer challenges. Working closely with the design team to storyboard and bring the vision to life.

Specific day-to-day duties may include:

  • Develop and manage digital content strategies - including social media, blogs, newsletters, videos and email campaigns
  • End-to-end social media management
  • Manage day-to-day content updates to company website via online content management system
  • Write and create external marketing materials to include brochures, presentations, data sheets, case studies, white papers, and other creative assets, etc.
  • Track organic digital campaign analytics, reporting on engagement metrics, performance and ROI
  • Assist with other departmental projects on an as-needed basis

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field with 2-4 years of experience or master's degree in marketing, communications or related field with 0-2 years of experience.
  • Strong writing ability
  • Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into engagement public-facing content
  • Experience contributing to corporate social media accounts
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms and content management systems including the ability to interpret campaign metrics on web and social and make data-driven recommendations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work across creative, technical and executive teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environment

Desired:

  • Government contracting / B2G marketing experience
  • Proficient in AP style
