Technical Logistics Resolution Specialist

Position Summary: The Logistics Resolution Specialist will plan, establish, and manage Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) actions to ensure accurate tracking, accountability, and lifecycle management of Government-furnished material, test equipment, and tooling. This position develops, documents, and implements standardized logistics processes, including check-in/check-out control, inventory maintenance, calibration tracking, and reporting across multiple technical and engineering groups. This incumbent will coordinate directly with Points of Contact (POCs) across engineering, warehousing, and program management teams to sustain auditable inventory control and operational readiness in support of Navy programs. The Logistics Resolution Specialist ensures adequate lifecycle visibility and accountability of technical assets supporting U.S. Navy engineering programs.

Clearance Required:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Active clearance preferred


Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

  • Communicate and collaborate with engineering professionals and utilize technical expertise to understand and interpret needs across engineering business lines
  • Gather and maintain program inventory and asset lists, establish Points of Contact for each technical or functional group, track calibration intervals, maintenance due dates, and repair actions for controlled equipment; and ensure all equipment and materials are correctly accounted for and linked to responsible owners.
  • Populate and maintain the master inventory list hosted on Microsoft Teams or other approved data systems.
  • Control Support property identification, labeling, and status updates in accordance with DoD and NSWCPD procedures for Government-furnished property (GFP) and Plant Property & Equipment (PP&E).
  • Establish recurring reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to summarize equipment status, usage, discrepancies, and calibration trends. Identify gaps and propose process improvements to enhance the efficiency of ILS.
  • Access government databases (REMEDY, One-Touch, etc) to support departmental solution development and implementation.
  • Support audits, reconciliations, and validation of serialized equipment in support of NSWCPD inventory and configuration management processes


Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Four-year Bachelor's degree or six years Technical Experience Equivalent.
  • Experience in government logistics (provisioning/supply) required and prior military, NSWCPD, or shipboard logistics experience preferred
  • Familiarity with supply support and provisioning policies and acronyms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and database management systems for data collection and analysis.


Preferred Skills and Experience :

  • Knowledge of the NAVSEA organization and functions of activities involved in providing engineering support.


  • Familiar with Haystack/Logiquest, WEB FLIS, ONETOUCH, FEDMALL.


Physical Demands and Expectations:

  • Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, and standing; frequent periods of prolonged sitting may be required.
  • Periodic travel (up to 15%) to support inventory verification or audit events.
