What this job involves:

As a VP, Team Lead at JLL supporting our financial institution client, you will be directly responsible for executing complex project goals through agile and strategic leadership while leveraging a national platform to focus on and lead industry-changing projects that influence the future of work. This role requires strong knowledge of construction projects from start to finish with a holistic approach to client needs. Your influence will be founded in facilitating critical stakeholder meetings, providing on-site project leadership, and applying financial acumen to meet client goals. You'll create strategic and collaborative solutions by focusing on establishing an energized and collaborative environment while contributing to work quality, cultural initiatives, and best practices that drive team results.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Lead a team of project managers, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring successful execution of retail projects
  • Oversee the team's project pipeline and ensure proper risk mitigation and guidance for successful delivery
  • Continuously improve the retail platform by identifying enhancements, evaluating new technologies, and implementing best practices
  • Provide training and support to your team of project managers while monitoring and reporting on project performance
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and retail project management best practices
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders including clients, project teams, and IT teams to gather requirements and meet client goals
  • Facilitate critical stakeholder meetings while providing on-site project leadership and applying financial acumen
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of relevant experience related to project or construction management within the financial services industry
  • Experience with project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations
  • Understanding of project phases from initiation through project closeout
  • Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Proficient in project management technology tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Retail construction project management experience
  • Experience managing a team
  • Proficient in software development methodologies and technologies
  • Experience in financial institution or banking sector projects
  • Knowledge of retail construction protocols and regulations
  • Leadership experience in cross-functional corporate real estate teams
  • Understanding of technology applications in real estate and construction industries

Location: Remote anywhere in the US

Estimated compensation for this position:

120,000.00 - 170,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
