International Proposal Consultant (Virtual, US)

Role Overview

Sirva International Moving Services is the market leader in international household goods moving in the United States through its Allied and North American brands. The International Proposal Consultant will be responsible for providing smart, competitive quotes for US agents and directly to some LMP consumers. The International Proposal Consultant is responsible for growing the US consumer business by increasing closing ratios.

Responsibilities

50% Provide competitive quotes behind the scenes for International Move Consultants (IMCs) who are focused on US consumer moves

* Receive quote request from the International Move Consultant

* Plan and ensure the most efficient and cost-effective shipment routing (Warehouse to Door or Door to Warehouse) based on customer requirements

* Start with existing tariffs and negotiate with agents and vendors for best pricing.

* Provide multiple routes and options and send quote doc(s) to the IMC, who will in turn send to their booker.

* Ensure consumer margins are maintained.

50% Responsible for DTD quoting for LMP Takeback markets to increase closing ratios

* Receive virtual survey results from our 3rd party provider.

* Start with existing tariffs and negotiate with agents and vendors for better pricing.

* Plan and ensure the most efficient and cost-effective shipment routing based on customer requirements

* As the booker, within 24 hrs from receiving survey results, using existing templates, competitively quote directly to the consumer a DTD full move management service providing multiple options.

* Answer any follow up questions to the consumer as they arise; by phone or by email depending on consumer's request.

* Follow up on quotes sent and disposition accordingly.

* Once booked, coordinate a warm handoff to the IMC.

Qualifications
* At least 3 years' experience as an international move consultant.
* Exudes high energy that can be felt over the phone/e-mail.
* Strong creative and out of the box routing skills.
* Knows how to optimize the margin by efficiently routing.
* Passion to close the deal.
* Consumer rapport building.

• Position Title: International Proposal Consultant
• Salary Range: $43,009-$53,762-$64,514 USD

Benefits are based on employment status and may not be available for temporary or part-time employees

Salary ranges may vary based on location, market conditions, and other factors such as experience and qualifications. The final compensation will be determined during the hiring process based on these considerations.
