Hourly Pay Range:

$31.28 - $48.48 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Application Analyst I

Job Summary:

As an Application Analyst I at Endeavor Health, you will be responsible for supporting an assigned application portfolio, including designing, documenting, implementing, and testing software or application solutions. A key focus is the efficient monitoring and management of issue resolution through timely ticket closure. You will also participate in implementation of new workflows and products in alignment with the organization's strategic goals.

To be successful in this role, you will be expected to learn the latest solutions and technologies and advocate for the adoption of industry best practices.

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
  • Required Travel: Local travel between sites and occasional nonlocal travel is encouraged to support ongoing professional development and portfolio specific education

What you will do:

  • Assist in designing, documenting, configuring, implementing and testing software/application solutions. Act as builder and participate in meetings with operations to communicate technical options that involve the use of Ambulatory and Population Health workflows, reporting tools, and decision support. Work closely with the Quality operational team, EDW, and Data Analytics teams to assist with solutions for workflow issues and optimizations to improve quality of care for our patients while balancing regulatory requirements for documentation and reporting. 30%
  • Works to resolve routine system incidents and requests in a timely manner for assigned tickets, escalating to senior members for support when needed. 30%
  • Participates in vendor calls on issues/upgrades 5%
  • Participates in function and unit testing of software/application solutions and contributes to the continuous improvement of processes. 5%
  • Prepare documentation, tip sheets and reports related to projects following established procedures. 10%
  • Participate in integrated workgroups/projects. 10%
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends and innovations in relevant technologies. 10%
  • Other duties as assigned

What you will need:

Education:

  • Associates degree in computer science, business management or related field

Certifications:

  • Certifications specific to portfolio of responsibility or obtained within 90 days of hire
    • EpicCare Ambulatory
    • Epic Healthy Planet

Experience:

  • Without bachelor's degree, two (2) years of relevant IT experience or relevant end user experience
