What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries related to access procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific guidelines, adapting to the unique needs of the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any irregularities.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Work collaboratively with site staff and other Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
