As a Security Guard - FT Armed Patrol Driver - Banking in Lexington Park, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at financial institution locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This position involves both armed responsibilities and driving duties. You will engage with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and communication, while upholding our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary, following established procedures.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and adhere to all weapon handling protocols as required for armed positions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
