As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent retail location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior or activities and report findings according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policy.
• Communicate professionally with store staff, visitors, and law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain awareness of the environment and report any hazards or security-related issues promptly.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III armed certification in Texas is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
