Job Description




As a Security Officer - Unarmed Healthcare Patrol Driver in Frisco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence throughout the site. This is a driving post, so you will utilize a company vehicle to conduct routine patrols. You will also engage with staff, patients, and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service and communication while embodying the values of Allied Universal: agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activities within the location.
  • Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and assisting visitors and staff as needed.
  • Document security-related incidents, observations, and interactions according to site protocols.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site contacts regarding incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences.
  • Participate in site-specific training and maintain awareness of emergency response protocols relevant to the healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
