As a Security Officer - Healthcare Unarmed Patrol in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming environment for all. By conducting routine patrols and remaining visible, you help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel or authorities as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and/or providing directions to visitors, patients, and staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment for everyone at the location.
• Document security-related incidents and complete required reports accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
