Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$20.50 - $24.09 / hour

Healthpark Medical Center Women's Care Center is seeking an experienced CNA interested to join their team. This is a part time night shift position.

We are willing to train the right candidate who may be a new graduate or willing to learn with background in hospital on an adult or similar unit, also from OB/GYN office.

Must have a current FL CNA license in FL, or from another state and able to transfer to FL under mobile endorsement. Also, a Basic Life Support Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross that is not due to expire within 90 days of hire. Otherwise, will need to take a BLS renewal class prior to preboarding.

Provides patient care duties under the guidance and direction of the nurse. Responsible for implementing components of the plan of care through the initiation/completion of procedures relating to basic human, mental health, social needs, comfort, safety and emergency measures; activities of daily living; personal care needs; nutrition and fluid and elimination needs. May have access to and transport non-controlled medications as directed.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of a State Approved, CNA Education Program required (with at least 120 hours of academic studies and clinical training; 165 hours preferred in Acute Care).

Experience: Previous CNA work experience preferred; or new graduate CNA with clinical training.

Certification: Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date.

License: Current Florida CNA Certification; or a CNA certification active in another state which is transferrable to obtain Florida certification under reciprocity.

Other: Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required. Knowledge of medical terminology.
