As a Security Officer - Logistics Screener Full-Time in Port Saint Lucie, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points, conduct security-related screenings, and help to deter unwanted incidents through your presence and attention to detail. You will interact with visitors and team members, providing outstanding customer service while upholding Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming and secure environment for everyone onsite.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor and screen individuals entering the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and/or identification as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual circumstances according to company and client protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and visitors to provide guidance and support as needed.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and maintaining visitor logs as appropriate for the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with X-ray screening is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
