Summary:

The Medical Group Operations team is comprised of four Operations Specialists who support a wide range of initiatives across MaineHealth Medical Group. Our work includes daily operational support, strategic projects, and workflow optimization to help practices run efficiently and effectively. We collaborate closely with practice teams to implement recommended workflows, drive improvement efforts, and contribute to initiatives that enhance care delivery and operational excellence across the medical group.

The Intern role provides administrative and project support within assigned department, while gaining valuable, hands-on experience in a healthcare environment.Interns will spend time supporting a variety of strategic initiatives including access to care, digital strategy, and practice optimization efforts.

We welcome all undergraduates to apply who are studying healthcare administration, public health and policy, or similarly related fields.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Student who is currently enrolled in a two-year Associate's Degree program, Bachelor's Degree program, or graduate-level program preferred.
