For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $3,000 sign on bonus for
Patient Service Representatives (PSRs):

• Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time PSR position.
  Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
• Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
  
  

This is a 40 hour per week position.

As a Patient Service Representative in Orthopedics, you'll be the friendly expert who helps patients navigate their care with ease. From coordinating appointments to supporting a fast-paced clinical team, you'll play a key role in helping patients get back to doing what they love.

What you'll do:

* Greet patients with warmth and professionalism

* Manage patient scheduling, check-in, and check-out processes

* Answer phones and assist with appointment coordination

* Verify insurance and process referrals

* Support the clinical team with administrative tasks to keep the practice running smoothly

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. License/Certifications: N/A
3. Experience: Six months of medical office experience required.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
