Summary: We are continuing our journey to improve the quality and reliability of data within our provider credentialing system by building Data Validation Reports. In 2025, our intern designed and implemented a SQL Server database that automatically refreshes daily with information extracted from our credentialing software. The Intern developed SQL scripts to test over 100 data integrity and business logic rules, identifying discrepancies across multiple data sources and entities. The intern also built a fully automated Power BI Dashboard connected to this database, which provides users with near real-time visibility into identified data issues, trends, and performance metrics. In addition, they documented the full end-to-end data pipeline, created stored procedures and validation logic to standardize data feeds, and established a framework for future dashboards and analytics. For 2026, we are seeking an intern who can build upon this foundation enhancing the existing validation system, expanding the Power BI reporting capabilities, and helping develop additional dashboards from the centralized credentialing database. Preference will be given to students majoring in Business, Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
