Summary:
Tier II Service Desk is an advanced level of IT support and escalation for Tier I. Tier II technicians handle more complex issues escalated from Tier I, requiring deeper knowledge of systems and applications to troubleshoot and resolve them. Tier II at MaineHealth is a diverse team of Technician, Epic Systems Analyst and PACS administration. This team not only troubleshoot and resolved calls/tickets, but also provide provisioning on several applications.

The summer intern with our guidance and assistance, will be responsible for the summer audit for the MaineHealth Application Catalog. My team is responsible for maintaining our MaineHealth Applications Catalog. We schedule time to sit down with each IT team to discuss any applications listed on the Application Catalog that may have them listed as a primary or secondary assignee for the application for them to assist in completing new columns and any possible empty fields. We would also like to identify items that may not be listed on the catalog. This is a great way for the intern to see all the applications we use within HealthCare and what role each team plays.

Preference will be given to students pursuing computer science, data analytics, or other related majors.
