Position Summary:

Support the company's vision, values, and growth objectives by leading a streamlined, sales-focused contract process across the Payments and Intelligence businesses. Partner closely with Sales and commercial stakeholders to negotiate customer-facing agreements, manage redlines efficiently, and drive timely execution from first draft through signature. Collaborate with senior leadership and the General Counsel to ensure contracts balance business objectives with legal and risk considerations. Identify and resolve process inefficiencies, proactively support deal velocity, and enable the team to move faster without compromising quality, integrity, or compliance. Operate with the highest standards of judgment and ethical leadership to deliver solutions that serve our clients, manage risk thoughtfully, and contribute to overall enterprise success.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate, review, analyze, interpret, modify & negotiate terms and conditions of various contractual arrangements, with a focus on client facing agreements in its payment and intelligence businesses, but including non-disclosure agreements, payment processing, SaaS, software license agreements, partner agreements, etc.
  • Provide strategic direction in contractual matters.
  • Ensure the contract is reviewed, approved and signed in accordance with the company's contract management procedures.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders including sales, operations and compliance to support deal execution and close timeline.
  • Advise on contract terms related to pricing, SLAs, indemnification, and commercial risk.
  • Maintain internal documentation of contract processes.
  • Serve as a liaison between management and internal and/or external counsel to ensure contracts meet both business and legal requirements.
  • Drive automation and efficiency for the contract lifecycle.
  • Manage contract templates within company's Salesforce/DocuSign contract lifecycle management system .
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

The successful candidate will possess general business, analytical and critical thinking skills and experience. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree. Experience in a related position of increased responsibility will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 5+ years' experience in managing the life cycle of major commercial contracts including drafting, negotiation, approval, and execution.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting sales or commercial contracts in a corporate, financial services, or SaaS environment
  • Experience in Payments, Software-as-a Service or Transportation industries is a plus.

SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills and an ability to synthesize information and make clear, concise recommendations on course of action.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with all levels of company management, internal customers and stakeholders, external customers, and outside counsel.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills are essential.
  • Demonstrate initiative and be able to work independently and as part of the team.
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Proficiency in DocuSign is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
