Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite for our client in Los Angeles, CA Interested?
- The Analytical Lab Technician will be accountable for conducting tests and preparing documentation for specialty gas cylinders.
- Apply quality control procedures to samples submitted for approval in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Perform routine analytical work on medical and specialty gases using various types of analytical equipment, including gas chromatographs and process analyzers.
- Performs routine quality control testing procedures on raw materials and products per established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Utilizes or adapts standard methods of procedure
- May generate certificates of analysis for pure products and mixtures
- Test cylinders for safety and fill cylinders to the needed specifications, following routine procedures
- Coordinates electronic analytical tests to ensure gas mixtures meet customer requirements
- Evaluates all medical gases for Food and Drug Administration (FDA) compliance before releasing for delivery to customers
- Ensures the lab is maintained in a neat, clean, and orderly condition
- Performs routine maintenance on instruments, scales, and pumps
- Produce, maintain, and inventory records of calibration, test data records, and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) medical gas paperwork
- Interacts effectively with other work groups
- Determine the pass/fail status of production samples submitted to the lab and perform the final cylinder inspection/application of certificates and labels.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Science
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an industrial lab environment
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Industrial/Specialty Gas experience
- Familiarity with gas chromatography and process gas analyzers
- Able to work independently and be self-motivated

- Ability to lift over 50 lbs and handle compressed gas cylinders
