Description Job Title: Construction Specialist Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee and coordinate overhead and underground telecommunications construction projects. This role involves managing daily field operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering high-quality results within established timelines and budgets. Responsibilities: * Supervise and execute overhead/underground construction activities, including: * Placing hard-line connectivity platforms, framing, and strand poles. * Transferring facilities between poles and placing connectivity platforms in joint trenches. * Safely operating construction vehicles and trailers. * Maintain accurate records of project milestones, production logs, material costs, and labor expenditures. * Conduct work site safety inspections, enforce compliance with safety standards, and lead regular safety meetings. * Coordinate projects with specialists and leadership teams. * Generate detailed logs and reports on construction progress, materials, and expenditures. * Address and resolve customer requests and complaints promptly. * Monitor crew performance against established goals and objectives. * Ensure all work meets or exceeds local, state, and federal standards and regulations. * Act as the primary contractor interface in the field and liaise with regional network technicians. * Verify job documentation, maps, and path quality for accuracy. * Ensure new or upgraded power supplies are operational before cutover dates. * Maintain overall responsibility for the quality of the product delivered to operations. * Be present in the field approximately 90% of the time. * Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; ability to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as needed. * Perform other duties as assigned. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
