Overview
This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit's Commercial Business Units ("Spirit Commercial"). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing's three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial's core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.
Responsibilities
Location - Wichita, KS
Key Accountabilities:
- Represents Company to internal and external customers by providing a world class customer service experience
- Includes but not limited to managing orders from placement, returns, credits, and any other issues for the life of the order
- Works with all level of leadership and cross functional team to secure product needs for customers
- Authority to access production systems for managing customer sales orders & suppliers through inventory systems
- Responsibilities require internal coordination of contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, and warehousing
- Must be able to multitask under pressure
- Can handle different priorities through effective escalation
- Willingness to go above and beyond for the customer
- Must be a team player and willingness to put the customer first
- Areas are limited to commercial and military
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of related experience
- Quoting experience
- SAP experience
- Experience with manufacturing or processing
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with supply chain and/or logistics
- Previous customer service experience in aircraft or other manufacturing
Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $61,800 - $94,750
